SUMMARY
Seasonal print collection graphics; research, development, design, artwork and production

PROJECT DESCRIPTION
PF17 - SS19 Collection Graphics
As the lead graphic designer, I worked on each seasonal collection from start to finish, reporting directly to the Creative Director.
I was solely responsible for the research and development of the theme and creative direction of each collection. For some collections the Creative Director would already have a theme in mind to start from, other times I would put together pitches for potential theme ideas.
From research through to design, development and production, I would design all of the collection’s print graphics, often including 30+ designs across illustration, typography and patterns; as well as establish the colour palette and specific lab dips and colour codes, print techniques, print sizing and placements.
The graphics would be applied to all garment categories including but not limited to: jersey, denim, knitwear, ready-to-wear, outerwear and silk.
In addition to design work, I would regularly liaise with and brief the production team and factories, to get the print designs through strike off, sampling, and final production stages.
