ART DIRECTION / DIGITAL DESIGN / CAMPAIGN PRODUCTION

To mark the exclusive launch of La Mer at NET-A-PORTER, we launched a campaign across multiple digital channels, including email marketing, social media, onsite, and affiliate platforms.

I was responsible for the art direction and design of the campaign, as well as producing the artwork of all final deliverables for the various touchpoints.

RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT

During the first stages of the project, I carefully researched and conceptualised ideas, compiling them into concise pitches for approval by the Art Editor and Head of Brand. Upon finalising the concept, I prepared the creative brief for the photographer and managed the retouch notes and feedback until the imagery reached final approval, a collaborative effort between myself and the Art Editor.

Utilising the La Mer products, the final concept showcases the brand's iconic visuals through its distinctive packaging and colours. Creating a composition of movable boxes — by making use of the packaging as props — we presented the product range in a single, flexible shot. Leveraging readily available resources and streamlining the creative were instrumental in meeting tight deadlines and staying within budget constraints.

The final part of the project was to design and artwork all the marketing assets. Often the challenge with multi-channel campaigns lies in adapting the creative to suit all the various applications. By applying my design knowledge to the art direction, I achieved a concept that allowed for different compositions to be made from one original creative, ensuring visual consistency and optimal readability across all assets.
